The Big Bang!

And no, this is not a recount of my sexual conquests, but rather an Arts student's view on everything since THE BIG BANG! Well kinda... actually not really;)

Real or Not/Happened or Didn't?
The Big Bang? Yes.
Dinosaurs? Yes.
God? Probably not.
Ancient Aliens? Yes. Okay, so I'm a bit of a freak, but look it up its a real thing!
Chicken or the egg? Um, Chicken? No egg!
Man on the moon? Yeah... but I think its kinda strange that we had the technology to shoot some dude into outer space, and yet it all went down on black and white TV sets. Weird right? I think so!
Aliens? I already answered that one.
Coffee or tea? What has this got to do with The Big Bang? Nothing, but I love them equally and prefer to have mine injected directly into my veins.
Ghosts? Absolutely not, but if I've just watched a scary movie, then absolutely!

 In all seriousness I find the topic absolutely fascinating, I constantly find myself watching documentaries and reading about it online. A good night in involves me listening to some dull as dishwater physics nerd talking about Einstein's theory of special relativity or quantum mechanics, but really I have very little need(actually none at all) for any such information in my Arts degree. Oh well.

What are your thoughts on The Big Bang, and what proceeded it. Haha! I know small topic right? And what are your opinions on my 'What happened or didn't Happen' section?(I know great title, right?;)

Also, I just slammed my leg into my desk as I went to get a cup of coffee. Don't you hate that?

Where's My Motivation Gone?

My third year at UNI and I'm totally out of motivation. Where has it gone? I really can't be f**ked studying and am having trouble motivating myself to do so! Recently it takes approximately 10,000 Red Bulls to will myself to get some work done. Why oh why can't I just be a good student? And why am I writing this post instead of studying? All good questions to be sending out into the Blogosphere, or whatever its called these days, yet none of them really help me... unless of course anyone has any real suggestions, that is.

Earth Hour 2011

Earth Hour has rolled around again, and it's time for everyone to flip the switch to reduce power consumption for 1 hour.
I'm pretty bad when it comes to being green, and I'm the last person to sit on his high horse, which really isn't that high... more of a  slightly over sized Shetland pony if anything! But really, what's 1 hour in your day? Not much, nothing really, just one episode of your favorite TV series!
In my opinion, its a really great occasion to get together with family or friends, have fun and do your part for the environment, while trying not to start any fires in the process;).

So, 8:30, 1 hour, see you there !

My Battle With Robots From The Future!

No this is not my mum... but not far off;)

Okay, so I'm not actually talking about robots, or am I? No, I don't think so...to be honest I'm not sure if vending machines are robots or not... I'm inclined to say yes. Actually everything I ever learned about robots comes from the Terminator movies, which is why I'm always so cautious not to make friends with anyone named Sarah or John Connor, and why I am always vigilant when it comes to turning off my laptop before I go to bed, just in case it ever gets the idea to overthrow it's harsh and cruel master( just kidding, I love you Mr/Miss laptop(even if your sex is still to be determined)). Getting back on track, robots, I mean vending machines! I'm pretty sure they're gonna take over the world. To begin with they've lured us all in by playing on that most basic human necessity, food and Liquids, and do you ever see vending machines eat? No, just like robots. not to mention the mother child nourishing factor has seamlessly taken over the mother's role in all of our lives... I mean I can barely tell the difference between a vending machine and my mum, well, actually I can... my mum weighs more( kidding, don't hate me mum, Oh wait, you don't follow my blog;)) Jokes aside, they feed us High fat, salt and sugary food and beverages to make us fat and easy to chase down... I mean remember how slow the terminator was? I don't, but I think he was slow;). Not to mention that they are everywhere! I can't count  how many  times I've been waiting for a train or a bus, look around and realize there are more of them than people, scary right? Apparently there are just 37,000,000 vending machines in the world alone!!! Just insane!

Also they keep stealing my money! why do they need so much if not to fund their diabolical quest for world domination? Don't they know I need it more?!

iPhone 5, really? I only just got my iPhone 4!!!

Let me start by say that I love pretty much all of the apple products! The only problem I have with Apple is the speed in which they replace their products... It's hurting my head! So, I created a few pictures to better explain to you how I feel, of course considering that absolutely everybody on this green earth(well mostly green) owns an iPhone you probably understand how I feel! anyway...

An Eye 4 An Eye, Or Why Did My Eyeballs Fall Out?

This is the point at which you need to log off!

Recently, my friend developed a problem with her eyes(they are all red and gross!) apparently this is caused by over using your computer, which really scares me cuz I'm online 24/7. So, naturally I did a google search to see If this is a real thing and what the causes are, that was my mistake! According to Dr. Internet there are loads and loads of problems that can be attributed to spending more than just a few hours online, such as  headaches, focusing difficulties, burning eyes, tired eyes, general eyestrain, aching eyes, dry eyes, double vision, blurred vision, light sensitivity, and neck and shoulder pain just to name a few. But, if you ask me as a highly trained self diagnostic I disagree, In fact I say spend as much time online as possible! I'd even go so far as to prescribe liberal applications of internet directly onto you eyeballs!! unless of course they fall out in which case I say disregard and stop for god sake!!!! What do you think? how much is too much?

Archer: Nemesis Of Study!

So, recently my friend introduced me to this TV series called Archer. It's about a black ops secret agent spy something or rather *shrugs* named Sterling Archer, and is set in the 60s I think... it's not that clear... ... It's like Mad Men meets James bond only funny.

Anyway, it's AMAZING! Only problem is that I can't just watch one episode I have to watch them all! My poor grades! Oh well!;)

I'm completely addicted to Chelsea Handler's Tv show "Chelsea Lately"! She is by far the funniest comedienne let alone human being I've ever seen, and I find myself spending hour after hour watching her clips on Youtube... clips like this one!

I love how she makes the jokes everyone else is too scared to make, no matter how politically incorrect it is. In her unique way she points out  the humor in the world around us, while not actually trying to be hurtful(well most of the time;), and is why I find her so funny. If you've never seen her before I highly suggest you checkout some of her work!

First Post On My Mind

So, I'm a fairly normal Australian guy living in Melbourne, and going to UNI.


I'm in third year now studying language(amongst other things)... although like many UNI students I've no idea what I'm actually gonna do in the real world, and will do pretty much do anything to avoid graduating;)  Anyway, my main intention in writing this blog is to share all my opinions and talk about the things I love! So here goes...


America, oh how I love your trash TV!

I'm completely obsessed with Trash Tv, I love it! my fav right now are Bridalplasty, Jersey Shore, and The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills, and If you're not watching them you better! The real Housewives Of Beverly Hills are the clear winner for me, cuz they have everything you could possibly want, rich, crazy women with no boundaries, no limit to the amount of plastic the can inject into their faces and seemingly no problem sharing all the most private aspects of their always entertaining lives to the entire world to gawk at. My fav episode was definitely "The Dinner Part From Hell", with surprise guest and surprisingly crazy Allison Dubois... the real one! I always thought Patricia Arquette was a pretty good actress, but her portrayal came nowhere close to the original! Tut tut arquette! My favorite line from the episode was when she told Kyle(one of the housewives) "Your husband will never emotionally fulfill you... Know that!!" and then proceeded to puff away on her electric cigarette and leer creepily at the women around the table. 

Julie The Firefighter

I'm also heavily into Survivor, but can't say I love this season as much as the last few... although I am glad to see Boston Rob and Russel back:) Can't wait for the next "all star" season!! of course it is only up to episode 5 so it may get better. My pick and fav for this year is Julie the Firefighter... lets see how she goes *fingers crossed!*
